Arrival

By public transport

The Tampere Art Museum has good public transport connections by the Pyynikintori plaza. The closest stops are the “Pyynikintori” bus stops. Buses from the railway station take about 15 min. For more information about public transport: Tampere Regional Transport (https://www.nysse.fi/en)

By car

Unfortunately, the art museum doesn’t have its own parking spots. The closest parking spots are the two- and four-hour disc parking spots on Puutarhakatu and Mariankatu. The closest disabled parking spots are on Puutarhakatu near the entrance end of the Pyynikki swimming hall. Visitors may also be dropped off by the side of the street in front of the art museum from which there is a slight upward slope to the museum main doors.

By bicycle

Bicycles may be parked at the bicycle stands on the yard of the Tampere Art Museum that are located on the left-hand side of the building.

By charter ride

Chartered buses may drop off and pick up their customers in front of the art museum on Puutarhakatu. At the end of Puutarhakatu there is also a one-hour parking area for chartered vehicles.
