The Art Realm ’26 Biennial, a major contemporary art exhibition produced by the Tampere Art Museum, will open in Tampere on 13 June 2026. The biennial presents contemporary art at the Finlayson Area and throughout the city centre, as well as at the Haihara Art Centre in the Kaukajärvi district.

The theme of the biennial is Together, explored through a wide range of artistic approaches, techniques, and forms of participation. The exhibition features nearly 80 artists, and most of the works have been created this year specifically for the Art Realm.

The biennial includes sculptures, drawings, paintings, printmaking, installations, photographic art, and media works. Throughout the summer, visitors will also have the opportunity to experience numerous participatory performances.

More detailed information about the artists and artworks is available on the taidevaltakunta.fi website. At Finlayson, the exhibition is housed in former industrial buildings located alongside Väinö Linna Square. At Haihara, exhibition venues include the art centre’s manor house, the adjacent courtyard area, and the former stable building.
